The Sudanese Association of Greater Sacramento (SAGS) is committed to promoting cultural understanding and community integration. Our goal is to help our members achieve their full potential by connecting them with educational and employment opportunities, and providing them with access to resources to make their transition to the United States smoother. We also organize social events and cultural activities to bring the Sudanese community together.
At SAGS, we are dedicated to empowering our members and creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you are new to Sacramento or have been here for years, we invite you to join us and become part of the SAGS family.

To form a unified body and resource for the Sudanese community in the Greater Sacramento area that provides support and guidance as well as ongoing social, educational, and other interactive activities that nurture the Sudanese-American identity.
